This was one of a pair of panels made by hand and an old White sewing machine that the author got one Christmas as a teenager. The fabrics are largely from left overs of designs for clients pieced together with what was available as pleasing as could be. The lining was the plaid shown as a small band at the bottom and they were made long enough to be bloused, puddled, both or slung up over a rod as swags and cascades. They ended up in a friend’s house as a gift of that friendship.
